THE BROTHERHOOD’S ORTHODOX AID FUND
THIS YEAR, because of fluctuating exchange rates we have converted all our outgoing donations into Sterling at the time of giving, rather than record them in the currency in which they were made. The total given in 2007 was £3,395.56, which just topped last year’s figure by about £50. Our thanks to all of you, who, by making donations, have made this possible. The monies from this fund are given to church, humanitarian and environmental charities, and the sums recorded do not include any money given to our own charity, the King Edward Orthodox Trust Company Limited or to the Brotherhood itself.
RE-SUBSCRIPTION DONATIONS
WHEN, in the Autumn, you, our readers, returned your “Shepherd” re-subscription forms, you also gave the following additional sums to our various requests:-
To the Orthodox Aid Fund - a total of £312.50
To King Edward Orthodox Trust Co Ltd - a total of £708.50
To the Building Fund Appeal - a total of £2,244.00
